JIL Wallet Terms of Service
How the JIL Wallet works, what it does and does not do, and the rules that govern your use of the software.
Last updated: August 22, 2026
UAG-JIL-2026-08-22b
1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JIL Wallet, including the software, services, and websites located at getjil.com, wallet.getjil.com, and any related applications (collectively, the "Wallet"). The Wallet (getjil.com) is a business line of jilsovereign.net, provided by JIL Federation Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the counterparty; "JIL," "we," "us," or "our"). The JIL L1 blockchain (jilsovereign.net) is infrastructure only. JIL Sovereign Technologies, Inc. (Delaware) operates vertical products (CMS, AREB, PIEB, CREB) and is not a party to these Terms and has nothing to do with JIL L1 or the wallet.
By accessing or using the Wallet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Wallet.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use the Wallet. By accessing the Wallet, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract; you are not located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive economic sanctions administered by OFAC, the EU, the UK, or the UN; you are not on any sanctions list; and your use of the Wallet does not violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction.
3. Account Creation and Authentication
Account creation requires KYC/AML identifying information, passkey (and, where enabled, 2FA) enrollment, and acceptance of these Terms. JIL retains one signing share so identity and policy bind at the gate and on the asset. You are responsible for safeguarding devices, passkeys, and recovery methods. Death and recovery are handled in the user wallet policy; JIL does not take control of assets. See Section 11.
4. Nature of the JIL Wallet
The JIL Wallet is a protected wallet. The JIL L1 blockchain (jilsovereign.net) is infrastructure only. GetJIL (getjil.com) is a jilsovereign.net business line of JIL Federation Technologies, Inc. (Delaware). JIL does not hold or control user assets. You authorize every sign. JIL retains one signing share so identity and policy bind at the gate and on the asset. JIL may refuse or delay a sign that has not yet occurred. JIL cannot reverse a sign after it has already occurred.
JIL cannot freeze user assets. JIL cannot freeze user assets via subpoena or otherwise. Death and recovery are handled in the user wallet policy; JIL does not take control of assets by any measure. Licensing classification is a counsel matter.
5. What the Wallet Does
- Software for managing digital assets (view, compose, sign, broadcast).
- Cryptographic key management across split key shares, with automatic key rotation.
- Pre-clearance attestation against compliance and risk databases.
- Post-quantum signing (Dilithium-III / ML-DSA-65, FIPS 204).
- Right of Life inheritance.
- Bridging / wrapping between supported networks.
- Transaction history anchored to CourtChain.
6. What the Wallet Does Not Do
- Hold or control user assets. The JIL L1 blockchain (jilsovereign.net) is infrastructure only.
- Execution of trades, sales, or exchanges.
- Off-ramp or fiat conversion.
- Reverse a sign after it has already occurred.
- Freeze user assets via subpoena or otherwise. JIL may refuse or delay a sign that has not yet occurred.
- Take control of assets for death or recovery. Those are handled in the user wallet policy.
- Investment, financial, legal, or tax advice.
7. Wallet Operations
7.1 Wrapping
Moving JIL tokens from a source network (such as Ethereum) onto JIL L1. You sign a transaction calling a bridge smart contract; the contract on JIL L1 issues the equivalent value to your wallet there. JIL never custodies the tokens during this process.
7.2 Transfer to another wallet address
Transfer of JIL tokens to a wallet address you control. Pre-clearance attestation runs before broadcast.
7.3 Transfer to Exchange or Off-Ramp
Transfer of JIL tokens to an exchange or off-ramp deposit address. Once tokens arrive at the third-party service, JIL has no further involvement. Any subsequent sale is conducted by that service under their terms.
7.4 Sale of Tokens
The Wallet does not provide functionality for the sale of tokens. To sell tokens, transfer them to a third-party exchange or marketplace and conduct the sale there.
7.5 Pre-Clearance Attestation
Before broadcast, the Wallet runs OFAC SDN screening, multi-jurisdictional sanctions screening, FinCEN BOI lookup, TRM Labs risk scoring, bad actor registry lookup, PEP screening, source wallet validation, counterparty risk graph analysis, and settlement intent binding where those controls are bound. Product consensus is the Attested Consensus Layer: 100% of the active validator set. Not 14-of-20 BFT.
7.6 User Initiation Required
Every operation requires a deliberate signing action by you. JIL does not initiate any transaction without your explicit consent. JIL may refuse or delay a sign that has not yet occurred. JIL cannot reverse a sign after it has already occurred. No default-checked consent boxes, no silent timeouts, no auto-broadcast.
8. Cryptography
8.1 Multi-Party Computation (MPC)
Key material uses a platform-retained Shamir share (product term: shard). You authorize with passkey or 2FA. The live default path reconstructs the signing scalar in the cosigner after those checks pass.
8.2 Post-Quantum Signature Binding
Final attestation signatures use Dilithium-III (ML-DSA-65, NIST FIPS 204). Validator votes use a hybrid Ed25519 + Dilithium-III scheme. Attestation / transaction binding uses SHA3-256.
8.3 Key Rotation
The Wallet supports automatic protocol-level key rotation without interrupting your access.
8.4 Cryptographic Commitments
JIL commits to maintaining post-quantum signature binding as a permanent feature. Any change requires 90 days' advance written notice and a documented security rationale.
9. Fees and Payment
9.1 Bridge Fees
1.00% base bridge fee, with tier discounts:
| Tier | 12-Month Volume | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $0 - $9,999 | 1.00% |
| Silver | $10,000 - $99,999 | 0.75% |
| Gold | $100,000 - $999,999 | 0.50% |
| Platinum | $1,000,000+ | 0.25% (or custom) |
9.2 Fee Charge Timing
Fees are charged only on successful completion. Failed transactions are free.
9.3 Other Provisions
Fees are disclosed prior to consent in USD and JIL tokens. Third-party network gas fees are not collected by JIL. Fee changes require 90 days' written notice.
10. Promotion Programs
- Referral. 10% of bridge fees from referees for 12 months, paid weekly in JIL.
- Affiliate. Tiered self-service program at affiliates.getjil.com.
- Influencer. Performance-based, onboarding at creators.getjil.com.
- Institutional partner. White-label and co-brand options.
11. Right of Life Inheritance
Death and recovery are handled in the user wallet policy, not by JIL taking control of assets. Where offered, Right of Life lets you designate beneficiaries. Designations are activated upon submission of acceptable evidence and beneficiary identity verification. Assets pass under that policy on JIL L1. JIL does not take control of the assets. Subject to applicable inheritance and estate law in your jurisdiction. JIL does not provide estate, tax, or legal advice.
12. User Responsibilities
- Maintain the security of devices holding your key material.
- Accurately enter destination addresses.
- Accept consequences of transactions you sign and broadcast.
- Comply with applicable laws, including tax reporting.
- Maintain accurate account and KYC information.
- Notify JIL promptly of suspected compromise.
13. Prohibited Activities
- Any activity that violates applicable law.
- Funds derived from criminal activity.
- Evasion of sanctions or AML controls.
- Transactions to/from OFAC, EU, UK, or UN sanctions list addresses.
- Market manipulation, fraud, deceptive practices.
- Funding of terrorism, narcotics or human trafficking.
- Tax evasion or avoidance of mandatory reporting.
14. Compliance with Laws
The JIL Wallet (getjil.com) is a business line of jilsovereign.net, operated by JIL Federation Technologies, Inc. (Delaware). The JIL L1 blockchain (jilsovereign.net) is infrastructure only. JIL does not hold or control user assets. JIL may refuse or delay a sign. JIL cannot reverse a sign after it has already occurred. JIL cannot freeze user assets via subpoena or otherwise. JIL will respond to lawful process with the operational information it actually has (for example account registration and KYC records required by law). That is not a freeze of user assets. Licensing classification is a counsel matter.
15. Privacy and Data
Collection and use is governed by the JIL Privacy Policy at getjil.com/privacy. Information collected for KYC is retained per applicable law. Transaction information is anchored to CourtChain for audit integrity.
16. Intellectual Property
The Wallet is the intellectual property of JIL Sovereign Holdings, LLC, and is protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other IP laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Wallet for its intended purposes.
17. Modifications
Material modifications will be communicated with at least 30 days' advance notice, except where shorter notice is required for security or compliance reasons.
18. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time. JIL may refuse or delay a sign, or suspend or terminate access to the Wallet software, for violation of these Terms, prohibited activities, legal requirements, or other reasonable cause. Termination of access is not a freeze of assets on JIL L1. JIL cannot freeze user assets or reverse a sign after it has already occurred.
19. Disclaimers and Warranties
The Wallet is provided "as is" and "as available." JIL makes no warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Digital assets are volatile; JIL does not guarantee any valuation.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JIL is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Aggregate liability is limited to the greater of fees you paid in the prior 12 months or $100.
21. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JIL and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from claims arising out of your use of the Wallet, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party rights, or any transaction you initiate.
22. Dispute Resolution
Informal resolution first. Then binding arbitration administered by JAMS in Wilmington, Delaware, before a single arbitrator.
Class action waiver. Disputes are resolved on an individual basis.
Exceptions. JIL may seek equitable relief in court for IP infringement, breach of confidentiality, or violations causing irreparable harm.
23. Governing Law
Governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
24. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement. These Terms + Privacy Policy.
- Severability. Invalid provisions do not affect the rest.
- No Waiver. Delays in exercising rights are not waivers.
- Assignment. You may not assign without consent.
- Notices. Provided via account email or the Wallet UI.
- Force Majeure. Excused for events beyond reasonable control.
